As the author of the Wild Rice Monitoring Handbook and Wild Rice Monitoring Field Guide, Tonya Connor (Kjerland) and her team offer monitoring plans, data analysis, reports, and research in the fields of natural resources and environmental health. Our work is grounded in a two-eyed seeing approach as described by Indigenous Mi’kmaw Elder Albert Marshall. In this approach, we integrate western science and Indigenous community perspectives.
